In contrast, our sunflower oil is cold-pressed and unrefined—this means no heat or chemicals are used in processing, preserving the distinctive flavor and nutritional content. If you notice a white layer at the bottom of the bottle, it’s completely normal! It's a natural wax that comes from the layer in between the sunflower seed and the sunflower kernel, and it's completely safe to eat. The layer can form if the bottle has sat for a bit, so all you need to do is shake the bottle to get it reincorporated.
